My manager recently told me I need to write a bio about myself. I was a bit nervous because I've never written a bio plus all the bios I've ever seen are written for the artist by somebody else... Hmmmm, so I asked him "Hey why dont you write it"? LOL, all I heard was "cricket,cricket,cricket".. I'll take that as a no!! So I sat back and wrote a little something from another persons point of view, in this case I, Fernando wrote about kAZual, the artist and this is what I came up with. I placed a small portion of it in my about me section but this is the full version.
kAZual dA kID (pronounced Casual) is a Hip Hop / R&B artist from Tucson,AZ. Born and raised on the scortching streets of the T-Town, kAZual has emerged on the scene with his smooth style and laid back lyrics. Once known as Trouble 1 from the 520's Finest Click, kAZual changed up his name, game and delivery as he grew into the artist he is today. Rapping on and off since 1997, kAZ finally began to take his passion for music from a part time hobby to a full time hustle.
In March of 2010 he released his debut album "kAZual Talk" on his own label Latenite Muzik, selling CD's starit out of the trunk and on a list of online stores including iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon MP3 and Napster. Ever focused on the future, the young Tucson native is currently juggling a handfull of projects, from recruiting such artists as naRkotic and Young Frank to Latenite Muzik to currently persuing his degree in applied sciences as well as designing his self titled clothing line.
"I've got muzik to make, weight to lose and everything to gain" (kAZual), has become more than just a quote he lives by. On a personal note, weight has always been one of kAZual's biggest issues. Realizing that sex sells, kAZ always set out to seperate himself from the stereotypes that go along with being an overweight person in todays society. Writing poetry was an outlet for him coming up and a passion he had since his junior high days which he used as his way to meet the ladies..LOL. Currently hittin' the gym, kAZual hopes to add that final sex appeal to his total package he already delivers.
What the future holds for this young entreprenuar who loves his state so much he put it in his name, only God knows. What is certain is that kAZual's drive and focus is stronger then ever. As his name buzzes from one state to the next, kAZual see's the world as his playground and shows no sign of slowing down what promises to be an interesting and impressive career.
I know I got a little personal with the whole weight thing but I just wanted to let my fans (weird even saying that..lol) know that I'm only human and not some super bad ass that most of these artists tend to act like..KEYWORD = ACT!!!!.
